Written by Khalia Solomon of Northwest High School
A gracious embodiment,
An inhabitant of the world moving to and fro.
Busy days filled
With warming every crevice,
Nook,
And
Cranny.
Lights the day
And leaves her mark
For the moon to cool,
Each space left with the reminiscents of her warmth.
Comes at odd times
And
Settles at odd hours.
She exists everywhere
But is viewed differently,
A complexity that not many understand,
Not many can grasp,
But yet some use a single notion,
To record when a day has ended,
When a season has begun,
And when a season ends.
