ABOUT US
wHY WE EXIST
In our modern world, the ability to read and write is essential for survival—yet 21% of adults in the United States are illiterate. These shocking statistics spurred on months of preparation and resulted in MOCO FOR LITERACY. Our nonprofit youth organization has the goal of promoting literacy across Montgomery County to raise awareness for the threat of illiteracy that many are facing. We hope to encourage others to take advantage of their access to education, literature, and knowledge and truly understand the priceless gift of reading and writing.
